PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Township Hall, 998 Templeton Street, Michigan, the Martin Township Board will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed 2023/2024 budget.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be subject to this hearing.

Martin Township Board will be holding a Budget Workshop to discuss the budget for the 2023/2024 fiscal year. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Hall located at 998 Templeton.

Martin Township passed Resolution 2023-03 Of Support for 123Net on March 8th, 2023. There are concerns with Martin Township Residents being told they are not able to be serviced with the fiber high speed internet. If this has happened, or if this does happen, please contact Jill Dunham directly at jdunham@allegancounty.org or by calling 269.673.0588 because she is working to advocate for our residents to make sure they are connected to this high speed fiber internet.

TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MARTIN, ALLEGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following is a summary of Ordinance was adopted by the Martin Township Board at a regular meeting held December 14, 2022.
ORDINANCE NO. 134: AMENDMENT TO THE MARTIN TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE TO UPDATE THE STANDARDS FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION USES.
SECTION I AMENDMENT.
This Ordinance amends Section 13.1, Special Exception Standards, of the Martin Township Zoning Ordinance in its entirety.
SECTION II SEVERABILITY.
The provisions of this Ordinance are severable.
SECTION III EFFECTIVE DATE AND REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
This Ordinance shall take effect eight days following publication after adoption. This section provides for the repeal of any conflicting Ordinances.

Notice of Special Township Meeting
Martin Township will hold a special meeting Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 5:45 p.m. at the Township Hall 998 Templeton Street Martin, MI 49070.
The special meeting will be to appoint Deputy Clerk Denise Dykstra as Township Clerk for term ending December 2024.
