Trick or Treating traditionally begins at 4:30 p.m.-7:30p.m.
You are invited to attend the Fire Department Open House from 5:00-7:30 p.m. that evening for free hot dogs, brats, and many more other treats.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the August 2, 2016, Election has been scheduled for: Thursday, July 21, 2016at 2:00 PM, in the Wayland City Council Chamber, 103 So. Main St,Wayland, Michigan.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program, and the tabulator that will be used to tabulate the results of the election have been prepared in accordance with the law.
Township Recycling Proposal August 2, 2016 Information Newsletter
On August 2, 2016, Martin Township Residents will vote on a $36 per household, per year surcharge to pay for the current recycling services provided by the Allegan County Resource Recovery Program.
Township Assessor Application
Martin Township is accepting applications for Township Assessor.
Martin Township has 1,600 parcels, with a SEV of approximately 124,088,391.
The Assessor must have at least 3 years of experience and be a MCAO certified or higher. Experience in BS&A Assessing, NET and Apex. Will comply with the Michigan State Tax Commission’s rules and suggested annual on-site inspections of 20% of each class of parcels per year.
Qualified applicants may submit their resume to the Township Clerk at PO Box 27 Martin, MI 49070 by August 8, 2016.
