SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING RESCHEDULE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Monday Martin Township Board meeting has been cancelled, and will take place on Thursday, December 17, 2015, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Township Hall, located at 998 Templeton Street, Martin, Michigan 49070, regarding a proposed amendment to the Martin Township Zoning Ordinance (Article III, Section 3.1 and Article IV, adding a new Section 4.33). The effect of the amendment if approved would be to define and regulate the use of medical marihuana within the Township in accordance with state law. Copies of the proposed amendment can be inspected or obtained at the Martin Township offices at 998 Templeton Street, Martin, Michigan 49070 during normal business hours or by contacting the Township Clerk at (269) 672-5027. Written comments will be accepted by the Township Board up until the close of the hearing. Public comment and input is encouraged.
